NOTE: There is no commitment on your part until you reach the bottom of this list. We do ask, however, that if we start you through this process you are diligent about keeping appointments with your 1st Propane® representative. At any time that you feel that this is not the franchise for you, just notify your representative.

2. Request for Consideration:  This is a short on-line form that provides us with additional information about your experience and finances.

3. Review of Your Potential:

Lifestyle Review: This is a review of the way a 1st Propane® franchise operates and the lifestyle you can enjoy. This is an important step to determine if a 1st Propane® franchise will fit with your personal and family needs.

Market Review: A preliminary review of the market that you are entering, and the growth potential.

Income review: Using statistics from existing franchises, we will review the results that have been achieved by other franchise owners. This is a key step in your planning process.

PLATO & Training Program Review: A walk-through of our business management, marketing, support and training systems that enable the superior support that you receive as a 1st Propane® franchisee.

4. UFOC:The sale of a franchise requires our presentation to you of a UFOC ("Uniform Franchise Offering Circular") prior to your purchase of a franchise. This process will provide you with an electronic copy of the UFOC and a walk-through on the telephone of the key elements of the Franchise Agreement. Included is a detailed review of historical financial results of other franchises.

5. Financing, Market Data and Real Estate Confirmation: Using financial information provided by you we will assist you with obtaining your initial approval of the financing that you may desire for equipment financing. Then, working together, we perform a final detailed check on the market data and real estate requirements in your market area.

6. Discovery Day: The next step is "Discovery Day" - your visit to our offices to meet the staff, look at our operations, ask more questions, and generally enjoy our hospitality.

7. Congratulations! Award and Planning: Upon awarding your franchise, we will open your startup checklist and assist you with ordering equipment, schedule your training, and schedule the opening of your franchise.
